I led the photo department at 1stDibs from 2015 to 2018, overseeing concept development, on-set art direction, and production of both domestic and international original photo and video content. I ensured that production remained on track with timelines, scope, and budget. Through improved brand photography, we developed stronger brand guidelines and contributed to revenue growth.

GOAL

Continually inspire consumers to shop for the world’s best antiques, contemporary furniture, and jewelry with marketing material and design-focused editorial content.

HOW

I was brought on as the first photo editor and content producer for a global B2B and B2C marketplace. I provided creative leadership to the photo department in producing high-quality content for editorial, paid/unpaid media campaigns, and brand marketing assets (email/social/web/mobile) across key verticals.

RESULTS

I contributed to a strong increase in brand awareness and business revenue. I grew the photo department from 1 to 3 people, produced the first original content for the brand, and used data-driven results to open their first photo studio.
